How to Disassemble a Glock 45 slides Stripped

1. Remove the magazine and confirm the chamber is clear.
2. Pull the slide slightly back, then pull down the takedown levers.
3. Release and remove the slide from the frame.
4. Lift the recoil spring assembly out.
5. Slide the barrel up and out.

Now the slide is fully disassembled for cleaning or upgrades.

How to Install a Glock Slide

1. Insert the barrel into the slide.
2. Seat the recoil spring assembly against the barrel lug.
3. Align the slide with the frame rails.
4. Pull the slide fully rearward and release it to lock in place.
